EvaGERRARDGERRARD - EVA Lynn, John, Michael, Susan, Allan, Paul and their families would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all relatives, neighbours and the many friends of their beloved mother, for cards of condolence, messages of sympathy, flowers and mass intentions received in her memory. Special thanks to all the staff at Royal Blackburn Hospital, especially to the High Dependency and Intensive Care Units - the care and devotion to the work you do is beyond compare. To the Reverend Fathers Clarke, Dowd and Chinery for their kind ministrations and services that were too beautiful for words for us to express, we thank you all. To Jill and all the staff at L Champ Funeral Service we thank you for your kindness, patience, professionalism and consideration. What Mother Means to Us M Is for her extraordinary memory for not forgetting a birthday or anniversary of her children, their partners, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters and friends - this without the aid of a calendar. O Is for order she brought to our lives in being there when we needed her and keeping us together as a family. T Is for teacher, to let you know what is right or wrong even if it was with the threat of a crack around the ear to prove the point. H Is for the 5-star hospitality you were treated to at Eva's Cafe, with her home made cakes and biscuits, she often sent you home with a carry out. E Is for the energy she put into her life from her weekly bingo, baking, cricket club on Sunday, to her trip to America and her recent trips to Cyprus. R Is for her religion she embraced in the last 10 years of her life; towards the end of her life this brought her comfort and peace. In all it spells Mother and to two daughters and four sons she brought life and joy throughout our lives so I am sorry to say the Cafe is now closed. God Bless You and Keep You Close
