GillianGEE (DR. REES)Peacefully on 12th September 2024, at home in the loving care of her family, Gillian aged 61 years.

The dearly loved wife of Martin, loving mum of Sammy, Sarah and Jenny, treasured Granny Gee of Phoebe, beloved daughter of Alan and Jean and dear sister of Graham and Stephen.

Service at Stoke Minster on Tuesday 1st October at 11.30am. Will all friends please meet at the Church.

No flowers by request but if desired a donation may be made to the Motor Neurone Disease Association and the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

19 years ago we found out we could not have children.. why don't you try fostering you said . We started the assessment 10 months later we were foster parents ... 10 children over the years we have supported because of you .. 2 children I have had for the past 10 years because of you ..my 2 boys call me mum I am a mother because of you . Thank you for your encouragement when we could not see a future.. RIP

Dr Rees was my family Dr for 30 years. She looked after myself and my children. She always had time for you, my appointments always ran over and she never minded. She always listened, she was there for me when my Mum died, through my divorce, then my Dad passing away, and my illnesses of over 30 years. She was the nicest, kindest most humble woman I’ve ever known. I send my deepest sincerest condolences to her family. Julie

Wow. I studied medicine with Gill and we lived in same house for last 4 years of med school. Gill was always incredibly kind to me and we had great times together. Devastated to hear this news. Far too young. Love you Gill. So sad.
