Raymond JohnGARNETTDevoted and much-loved husband of Jean A treasured Dad to Suzanne and Andrew. Proud grandad to James, Lucy, Charlotte and Sophie and step grandson Will. Much-loved great grandad to Finley. Father in law to Richard and Eleanor. Loyal friend to many.

Ray was courageous and kind with a wicked sense of humour that could light up any room. He had a great love for animals especially dogs in particular Tilly and was never happier than with a four-legged friend by his side. His strength, warmth and quick wit will be remembered always. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew him.

Funeral service to take place at All Saints Church, Childwall on Thursday 19th March 2026 at 12.00noon followed by committal at Springwood Crematorium, Rosemary Chapel. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Ray can be made to Blood Cancer UK. bloodcancer.org.uk/about-us/

I recall fondly the happy memories with Ray and the Scouts. He always gave generously of his time and had a smile for everyone. He treasured his family and he will be missed. Rest peacefully Ray
