Frederick JohnGARDINERPassed away peacefully on 13th December 2025, Fred aged 95 years.

Much loved Brother of Alan, David, Joan and the late Eileen and Pat. Also a much loved Uncle and Friend to many.

Fred will be sadly missed by all who loved him.

Funeral service to be held at St Thomas More Church on Wednesday 24th December 2025 at 9:00am.
Prior to committal at St Bede's Chapel, Teesside crematorium. Friends please meet at the chapel.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if so desired can be made to Zoe's Place.

A special thank you to the staff at Roseleigh Care Home, the parishioners and Fr Dominique Minskip at St Thomas More and St Joseph Church.

A true gentleman, always ready to help others and a much loved Uncle/Great Uncle to my family. We will miss him but cherish all the memories we have. One of my earliest memories is a family holiday to Scarborough. I loved that holiday with Nanna, Grandad, Uncle Fred, Mam, Dad and Andrew. It was such a magical holiday.

Uncle Fred was the kind of son, brother and Uncle everyone would want in their family. This world is emptier now but the next one has been enriched.
