We will always retain very fond memories of Tante Ursula, particularly when we met with her as part of our vacation in Cornwall. Talking with Tante Ursula on the telephone we enjoyed her life-affirming character, her humorous attitude, openness to all sorts of subjects and her compassion. We will miss her. Ulla enriched our lives, so many lovely memories

How lucky we are to have lived nextdoor to Ulla in the house that she restored with Frank. So many good memories, our many chats together, eating ice creams in the garden, her funny made-up words, apple cake and plum pancakes, her laugh. Till we meet again friend.

What a wonderful family friend and such a sad loss. My introduction to Ulla was at my wedding! She was a close family friend of my husband to be and was known for fabulous cooking, cake making and decorating. Without hesitation she agreed to make our wedding cake with a month’s notice and between her, Frank and a dehumidifier we ended up with the most wonderful cake and an ongoing fabulous friendship ever since.,Wonderful memories.
