AlanGAFFNEY(Longbenton) Peacefully at home on 22nd December aged 80 years Alan. A beloved husband of Helen, a much loved and devoted dad of Jill and Sean, Clare and David, Helen and Alan, a treasured grandad of Stephen and Nicola, Liam and Lois, Rebecca and Amy and great-grandad of Naseem, baby K (the bump) and Callum (born sleeping). Alan will be loved and sadly missed by all his loving family and many friends. Would friends please meet for service at the West Road Crematorium on Wednesday, 8th January at 12.45pm. Family flowers only by request, donations in lieu if desired to the Alzheimer's Society. A collection plate will be available at the crematorium.
