James JimGAFFNEYGAFFNEY JAMES (JIM) May 23rd 2014 At Royal Preston Hospital, following a short illness, aged 79 years. From Tarleton but born in St. Helens on July 7, 1934. Loving Father to three Daughters Claire, Sandra, Denise and Son-in-law Mark, Grandfather to Jordan, Daniel, Amy, Josh, Alex and Adam and Brother of Jack and his Wife Hilda. Jim was preceeded in death by his Wife Patricia and Daughter Sandra. His love, honesty, kindness and sense of humour will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Service will take place at Holy Trinity Church, Tarleton today June 3rd 2014 at 10.15 a.m. Followed by Committal at Southport Crematorium at 11.20 a.m. Family flowers only by request please but donations are being gratefully received on behalf of The I.C.U. at Royal Preston Hospital.
