Adam and I are so sad to hear the news. Tim was such a big personality. We have enjoyed many trips together, 2 PGL trips to France, 3 weeks in Oz, and not forgetting the many Ribblesdale adventures and memories! I would always make my way to the water activity that Tim led, to watch the kids get soaked, usually unwilling by Tim with a bucket or hosepipe! On several occasions even I ended up in the water bin upside down thanks to Gaff! The barn lounge was even named after Tim (Gaff’s gaff!), mainly as he spent most of the time sleeping in there, instead of in his tent!
He was a pleasure to teach as a young man and grew up to be a caring good man with a kind soul. Always volunteering to look after our dogs on our weekend trips up to the dales!
Be it a little wild at times, he certainly has entertained us, with the Vile Brother performances, (real cat food and bananas squeezed through socks), eating local wildlife (lizard), to vodka eyeballs!
Reading all of the messages, he has certainly had a huge impact on the lives of many, and his legacy will truly remain! Our kids don’t remember many of our ex-students, but they remember Tim! :)
May he be at peace now, but forever in our hearts and memories. Much love Caz and Adam.
