David GordonFROSTDavid was born in Roslyn Avenue, Gedling, Nottingham. David attended and continued to stay in contact with Nottingham High School. He played the trumpet in his youth for the Salvation Army and recalled antics of his times as a local Scout Leader. David left Nottingham for Imperial College, London University before moving straight into working life as a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering for NEI Parsons. David travelled the globe commissioning power stations; as well as those closer to home in Heysham Morecombe and Drax. He took early retirement in 1998 after a stroke.
David was an avid attendee of Nottingham's Aphasia Group who were a great support in his rehabilitation and learning to speak again. David always loved walking the woods with his dogs around the Woodland Trust sites who he supported to the end.
David's sociable, outgoing nature will be missed by both family and friends.
