John NeilsonFRODSHAMPeacefully whilst in the loving care of Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, surrounded by his family. John aged 85 years of Cleethorpes.

Dearly loved husband of Susan. Loving dad of Louise and Simon. Dear father-in-law of Tony. Treasured grandad of Isabelle, Rio and Tom. Very dearly loved and respected by all his family and friends and will be very sadly missed.

The service is to take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Thursday 22nd January 2026 at 9:45am.

John is resting at Alexanders Funeral Care, Alexander House, 70 Carr Lane, Grimsby, DN32 8JP.

My condolences to John's wife and family. When I was a teenager I swam and competed for him a few times and would help demonstrate during some of his swimming lessons. I was always very fond of John and his love and dedication to swimming. He's greatly missed.
