It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William, who left us peacefully on 15th February 2026, aged 80, surrounded by his loving family.
Bill is the loving and treasured husband of Marylin, devoted dad of Stephen and Lynn. Adored granddad to Hana, Theo, Libbie and Kai. Beloved younger brother to Ronnie and late sister Jean. Bill will be deeply missed by all his family and friends, and anyone who had the privilege of sharing his life.
The funeral service will take place at Saltwell Crematorium on Thursday 5th March 2026, 14:30pm. This will be followed by a celebration of his life at The Corpy Club, Gateshead Leisure Centre all are welcome.
Flowers are welcomed or donations in Bill's memory to Ward 12 of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Cancer Research.
