Michael John RobertFREEof Glastonbury passed away peacefully on 17th November 2025 aged 80 years. A much loved Husband, Dad, Grandad and Great-Grandad. A former Mayor of Glastonbury, Mike was a well known and respected man who did much for Glastonbury, he will be sadly missed by many.

The funeral service for Mike will be held at St John's Church at 2:00 pm on Monday 8th December, followed by a private burial. Wake to follow church service at Avalon Constitutional Club. Family flowers only, with donations being kindly received for the National Kidney Federation, which may be left in the donation box at the church after the service, online at www.ghollandfunerals.co.uk or forwarded to :-

One of Mike's last work projects was creating some beautiful hand drawn plans for my house extension. He would stop at nothing to get them right, working hard despite his regular dialysis. I really enjoyed meeting him and his wife. My sympathies to his family. Angela, 4 Hill Head.

Dear mick, I have many happy childhood memories of us playing at home or at rose cottage
I remember your wedding at cheddar 1966 and been bridesmaid.
It was always nice to hear from you, and that your served your community been mayor.
You gave us some nice holidays at Dartmouth and then at Lake District, you drove us up to see the highest rd,
You accomplished much, and we were enriched by you
