The obituary notice of Edward Huw FRANCIS (Bassetts Motor Group)

Like everyone else who knew Huw, I was shocked at his sudden demise and will miss him dearly.

Dear Huw. I want to thank you for all the amazing adventures we shared over the years. I have the most incredible memories of our times together on board the Tallships, Challengers and Destiny. And the time we shared a trip to Oman courtesy of Citron. You shaped my life and set me on a path of adventure, for this I will always be truly grateful!! Your sudden passing will leave a massive hole in the lives of many that knew and loved you, including myself. Bon voyage dear friend xx

I have known Huw more than 60 years and have sailed and holidayed with him many many times. Such a trajic loss and all too soon, please accept my sincere condolences.

So sad to learn of Huw's passing, i have such fond memories of working as General Manager of his Carmarthen Citroen Dealership for 18 years before i retired.

Our day today dialogue's, our time spent at Citroen profit clinics up and down the country , and also out time together in foreign places on manufacturer/ dealer trips fill me with wonderful memories that will stay with me forever.

It is time for you to rest in peace now Huw , following your lifelong dedication to your much respected business , a job very well done.

Our thoughts are with Rhian Paul and family at this very difficult time , also his colleagues throughout Bassetts Motor Group.
