Julie-AnneFORKASIEWICZ(Nee Whittaker) It is with great sadness that the family of Julie-Anne Forkasiewicz (Whittaker) announces her sudden passing, on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the age of 53. Julie passed away peacefully, whilst on holiday with family and will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 29 years, Peter, her father Trevor, brother Mark and sisters Gillian, Rachel and Jennifer. Julie, who was born and raised in Accrington, served 21 years as a police officer and had retired and lived in Waddington with her husband Peter. Julie enjoyed days out, especially shopping and leisure time and was a keen gym goer. Julie loved the outdoors and together with Peter enjoyed walks and mountain biking. She loved being with friends and family and always smiled and had a great sense of humour. “You transformed my life from the start when we met – your love, smile, all of you, I shall never forget, now you are at rest together with your mother. I miss you so much, my love for you will never fade, rest in peace my love and one day we will be together again, until then you will remain in my heart”. A Requiem Mass will be held at 10am on Tuesday, July 12, at St Hubert’s R.C. Church, Great Harwood, administered by Fr. P. Tansey, followed by burial at Accrington Cemetery, Burnley Road, Accrington.
