Lewis JosephFORDEaged 69 died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday 21st May in the care of hospital Sanchinarro Madrid with his devoted wife Ann by his side, after a brave 8 year battle with cancer. Lewis was a loving soulmate to Ann, a caring dad to Vicky, a loyal brother to Tony and a friend to many. Lewis worked at BT as an international telephonist from 1988 until 2004. He and Ann then emigrated to Spain where he enjoyed a relaxing retirement in the sun. ‘I am not truly gone, if you keep me in your heart. I’ll forever be alive and we’ll never have to part’.

So sad, Lewis was a lovely, funny, genuine kind person. He was so helpful when working with you on International calls.
Deepest sympathies and love to Anne and all his family.

Very brave man and will be sadly missed. Nigel and I were fortunate to spend time with Ann and Lewis at their home in Benatae and in our holiday apartment in La Cala Finestrat. Many happy hours spent eating good food, drinking good wine and putting the world to rights. Will be very sadly missed. Love to Ann, Vicky, Tony and family. With love Deb and Nigel Dolby
