AlanFORD19th January, 2017 Jenny, Geoffrey, Sarah, Stuart, Ruth and their families and also the family of Alan and Jenny's late Daughter Susan, would like to express their most sincere thanks to all relatives, neighbours, friends and business associates for their many messages of sympathy, cards and letters received at this sad and very difficult time. Thank you also to all who attended the funeral. The family would particularly like to thank all of the staff at Corbrook Park Nursing Home for their superb care and devotion to duty in looking after Alan in his final months, thank you also to Leighton Hospital for their care. Many thanks to the Rev. Philip Goggin for his compassion and the lovely service and Ruth Edge for playing the organ so beautifully, Ann Nicholas for her kind reading, Joyce for her excellent eulogy and all Alan's Grandchildren who took part. Thanks also to 'Ros' Darlington for the outstanding wreaths and Jenny Davenport for the excellent food. Finally, a very big thank you to Oxley's Funeral Services and all of their outstanding staff, not only for the excellent funeral arrangements but for all their help as our neighbours during Alan's long illness. Generous donations received will be divided equally between The British Heart Foundation, Breast Cancer Care and Diabetes UK.
