Michael Thomas James JohnFORANIt is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mike on the 3rd November 2025, aged 75 years.

Husband of the late Joanne Foran. Much loved dad of Rose and George. Loving partner to Carol. Beloved son in law and father in law. Loved by all, known by so many, Mike will be missed by all his family, friends and everyone who knew him.

'Mike the bus - much loved bus driver'

Service will take place at The Church of Immaculate Conception, Stroud on Friday 21st November at 1.00pm followed by private family burial.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to Cancer Research UK in Mike's memory.

Mike, you were a true inspiration to me and I am going to miss you greatly. You brought joy to every situation and my family always looked forward to seeing you at church whenever they came back home. You are utterly irreplaceable and I am not sure what we are going to do without you but I am grateful for the great times we spent together. God bless you.

Mike!!
This is such sad news.
I was a pretty sad child and Mike was just a caring, smiling, happy guy who drove the bus. Somehow he ‘saw’ me and made me feel so much better about life. I can still (50 years later) remember the fun badges he wore that made me laugh!!
I loved bumping into him over the years. We would always chat and catch up.

Mike, you really made a difference to me. Thank you. ❤️❤️
