Gladys EdnaFLYNN(EDNA) Died peacefully on Wednesday 28/10/2015 at West Middlesex University Hospital, Isleworth. Edna had reached the wonderful age of 95 years, born 22/07/1920; she had been a life-long member of the Labour Party since the age of 16 and was always extremely active in her local community. Married to Bob Flynn for 55 years, they were both actively involved in local politics having been Mayor and Mayoress in 1983/4 and deputy Mayor and Mayoress to Councillor Edward Pauling in 1985/86. Edna also continued to serve the Co-operative Party having been an active member for 58 years. Edna was a loving Mother to Terri and Michael and their respective partners Tony and Jan and between them, she had 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and will be forever remembered in our loving hearts. God bless Mum, sleep tight! Edna's funeral will be held at 2.40p.m. on 23rd November at Hanworth Crematorium. Small handheld bunches of flowers from your garden would also be most gratefully received.
