DorothyFLUDEPassed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital aged 74 years. Dorothy the much loved mum to Kenneth and Michael, dear mother-in-law to Lisa and Mandy, treasured nan to Thomas, Alexander and Jemma and a cherished sister to Mary. Service at St. Andrews Church Friday 20th December 2019 at 12.30 p.m. followed by a private family committal at Crewe Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Crewe Heritage Centre. All enquiries to Oxley's Funeral Services. Tel:- 01270 214009

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Dorothy Flude. I remember her well from when I worked at the Hilary Centre many years ago. A vibrant colourful lady, who spoke with honesty and passion.

Dorothy was a force of nature : kind, warm, driven to help others, and prepared to ask the honest questions. She was a massive support to me whilst I was Headteacher of Shavington High School/ Academy from 2010-2019. I shall miss her very much and my thoughts are with her family at this time. Carol White

Happy teenage memories of Dorothy at Kingsway High School then Totties Hall College together. As well as many hours listening to Elvis Presley records on their family player in (I think) Catherine Street. My deepest sincere condolences to her family especially Mary.
