Michael Paul BernardFEBREYPassed away peacefully at the Royal United Hospital, Bath, on July 8th aged 87 years. Beloved husband of Ena, adored father to Jane and dearly loved by family and friends. A devoted family man and wonderful friend, Michael was also a well-respected teacher at Whitstone Community School, a popular former member and Captain of Wells Golf Club, of Shepton Mallet Bowls Club and long-standing resident of Croscombe. He will be sorely missed. There will be a private cremation followed by a Service of Celebration for Michael at St. Mary's Church, Croscombe at 11.30am on Monday, 23rd July to which all are welcome. The family request that no black be worn. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Michael will be divided between Grove House Surgery, Prickles Hedgehog Rescue Centre and RUH Charitable Fund (Respiratory Ward).
