Our thanks go to Dr Ormrod, her fellow doctors, nurses and staff at Whitworth Surgery, to the district nurses from Healey Surgery and to all the NHS staff based at Oldham, Rochdale, Bury and North Manchester Hospitals who were involved in Geoffrey's care. Special thanks go to the carers at Routes Healthcare who attended to Geoffrey's needs over the past year in such a compassionate way. We are grateful to all the doctors, nurses and community team at Springhill Hospice for the loving care they gave to Geoffrey and his family during his illness and especially as his life drew to a close. Sincere thanks to Donald Nuttall for the very personal and caring service he conducted at Whitworth Cemetery.
