The obituary notice of Charles Rodney FANTHORPE (Rod)

I will miss my phone calls with cuz Rod and Jean and sad at his passing. He was a few weeks older than me so from our first meeting I became “Young Garry”. I will miss his wonderful sense of humor and how he’d say don’t hug me I’m British.
To all those reading this, who were at the FMG and might remember Rod standing on a box in a farm field where Fanthorpe Manner House had been. He had on his green Wellie’s and was very proud of them indeed.
Thanks to Rod and Jean for all of their family research.

My Cuz, I will miss having you as my close long-distance friend and relative across the Pond. We shared alot of memories and times together, if only through being pen-pals for about 20 years. My sister Barbara and I send Jean our condolences and love.
