Sheila’s passing is such sad news. She was a gentle, kind‑hearted lady, and I have fond memories of Sheila and Eric during their time at The Dunes. They were a lovely couple, and Sheila will be remembered with warmth and affection.

Grandma, i'm usually pretty good at putting thoughts and feelings into words but I'm struggling here. Although we knew the time would come where you had to leave us, we weren't prepared for it to be just yet! Literally two days before you took a downwards fall, you were sat laughing with us. You were following Poppy and I, reading a story to you (the tortoisaurus) and your eyes were still so bright and your smile still lit up the room...Even though you probably had no idea what the story was about you still followed as if you knew what happened next! What a lovely last memory Poppy will hold with her forever. You were the best Nan I could have ever wished my daughter to have. Even on your off days where the world span around you, you managed to leave your struggles behind and make us all laugh. You played with Poppy (in your own ways) and Poppy was no wiser. Your singing, dancing and the way you were able to laugh at the slightest things and set everyone else off with you, will live on in our memories.
As a Grandma, you were also the best! Too many memories to even talk about... but the sleepovers at yours when we were little were my absolute favourites! The walks into town to search for a little doll to add to my collection (even though secretly I didn't even really like dolls, I just wanted an excuse to be out walking with you I think). The butterscotch angel delight with chocolate sprinkles we always made...yummy. The neopolotan ice cream we used to sneak chunks of without Grandad knowing 🤫. Fun times!!

Grandad will be so happy to have you back even though, here, we are all so sad to lose you. Rest easy with Grandad and look after eachother like you always did. Love you always! Forever missed ❤️
