This news brings so much sadness to my heart. Gareth is part of so many happy memories in Leeds. Always at the centre of the fun and mischief. Unbelievably kind and down to earth. Surrounded by good people/friends - a true sign of what a good person Gareth is (and always will be). My sincerest condolences to his family and loved ones. Big love from Weeksy xxx

I was so saddened to hear of Gareth’s passing. I remember him from childhood visits to Nottingham, always full of fun and laughter. I was struck by the closeness he shared with Jenny and Philip – a bond between cousins that was so special. My heartfelt condolences to Alina, Martyn, Alex and family. Thinking of you all and holding you in my thoughts at this incredibly difficult time.

With deepest sympathy,
Olivia

It is with a heavy heart that I reflect on the loss of Gareth who has left us far too soon. I knew him best as a sweet and gentle boy, with a bright and curious mind surrounded by the love of his wonderful family.

I know he became a thoughtful and intelligent young man who carried forward the strength, heart, and dignity instilled in him by Alina and Martyn. The love and pride they held for him were always evident, and I know his life, though brief, was rich with meaning and impact.

Through the pain of his loss the love he gave, and the lives he touched will shine forever. Rest in peace Gareth.

Sincerest condolences to Martyn, Alina, Alex and family. Gareth’s kindness will never be forgotten. A fondly remembered colleague who cared about people and not just outcomes. Always asked the right questions, always listened and had a way of getting answers from people without them realising through being gentle and consistent, all without ever needing to be in the spotlight. A young man who lived life to the full; never complained and always had time to offer support when or where he felt it might be needed. So glad to have known Gareth and so sad for your loss.
