Eileen SybilELSONPassed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on 5th August 2026, aged 92 years.

Beloved wife of the late Geoff, much loved mum of Ben and mother-in-law of Sue, proud and devoted grandma of Emily and Alex. Forever in our hearts, God Bless.

A celebration of Eileen's life will be held at 1:45pm on Thursday 3rd September at St Mary the Virgin Church, Newton Solney, DE15 0SR, followed by a private family committal.

At Eileen's request, donations in lieu of flowers will be gratefully received for 'Newton Solney Tuesday Club' and 'Repton Memory Singers' and may be placed in the donation box at the service. Eileen also stated there is no need to wear black.

Our family will never forget the kindness and support Eileen showed to my Mother, Helena. They lived next door to one another for many years and had a special friendship that my Mum treasured.
Eileen was a lovely lady and I am so sorry we cannot attend the funeral due to being away.
Our condolences to Sue, Ben, Emily & Alex. May she Rest in Peace.

I have such lovely memories of Eileen , she was such a kind person . Eileen never failed to ask how my Son James was doing , James never failed to ask how Eileen was when I paid a visit . I loved Eileen’s sense of humour , we’ve always had plenty of laughs over the years . Rest in peace my friend , I will always remember you with fondness ❤️

Dear Auntie Eileen I have so many happy memories spent with you and Uncle Geoff ❤️ Sunday morning chats Christmas and lots more ! You and my mum were best friends from school and I am heart broken I can't attend your funeral but I will be thinking of uou on my holidays in Majorca love ♥️ lots thankyou for the happy times x
