Alfred Ernest (Ern)ELLISPeacefully on Tuesday April 24th 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family, Alfred Ernest, aged 81 years of Clayton. Cherished husband of his devoted wife of 56 years, May (his oak). Much loved dad of Sharon, Craig and Pauline, a treasured grandad of Steph and Steve, Jade, Rich and Kate, Catherine and Megan-Rose, dearly loved brother of Derek and the late Jean, brother-in-law of Pearl and the late Eddie and a dear uncle. Ern will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all his loving family and many many friends, especially best friend, Dave. Funeral service to be held at the United Reformed Church, Clayton on Thursday 3rd May 2012 at 10.30am. Prior to interment at Keele Cemetery. Will relatives and friends please accept this the only intimation and kindly meet at the church. Flowers are welcome. No mourning clothes please, by request of the family.
