Loving husband of Dorothy and the late Pat, much loved dad of Richard and Vicky, daughter-in-law Jude and son-in-law Dave. Adored grandad of Amy, Lucy, William, Lauren and Rebecca, great-grandad of Zak, Luna, Kyri, Billy and Harry. Dear step dad to Gary and his wife Nic. Fondly missed by all his family and friends.

Funeral Service to take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Tuesday 10th March 2026 at 2.40pm. No flowers please, donations to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

R.I.P. Bill, we had some cracking times when we worked together in the Winghay & Spencroft seams when we were in the old pit at Silverdale. You were always good for a good laugh.
