KennethEASTHAM11.08.27 -21.07.24 Passed away at home with family by his side on Sunday 21st July 2024, aged 96 years. Beloved husband of Doris (deceased), for 67 years, a wonderful father to Paul (deceased) and Beverly. An extra special father in law to Ray and a much loved uncle of Susan and Sarah. Caring brother of Elsie and brother in law of Barbara (both deceased). Ken was a loyal friend, neighbour and public servant. He served on Manchester City Council 1963-79 and then as Member of Parliament for Manchester Blackley 1979-1997. Funeral Service at St Michael and All Angel's Church, Orton Road, Manchester M23 0LH , Monday 12th August 2024 at 10.30 am. Followed by the committal at Manchester Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations in Ken's memory to WaterAid. All enquiries to Co-op Funeralcare Chorlton, 102 Manchester Road, M21 9SZ
