Some people come into our lives quietly and change us forever. She was one of those rare souls.

When my son needed care, safety, and understanding, she opened her home and her heart without hesitation. She gave him stability during a time of uncertainty. She gave him patience when he needed space to grow. She gave him warmth, kindness, and reassurance when he needed it most. In her care, he felt safe. He felt valued. He felt loved.

But what makes her memory even more precious to me is that she didn’t just support my son — she supported me too.

At a time in my life when I felt overwhelmed and unsure of myself, she never judged me. Instead, she offered encouragement. She reminded me that I mattered. She believed in my ability to grow, even when I struggled to believe in myself. Her compassion and quiet strength helped me find my footing again.

She showed us both what true fostering really means. It’s not just about providing a place to stay — it’s about building trust, creating understanding, and offering love without conditions. She walked alongside us, not ahead of us, and because of her, we both became stronger.

Her kindness has left a permanent mark on our lives. The lessons she taught us, the care she gave, and the love she shared will continue to guide us.

We will always be grateful. We will always remember her. And we will always carry a piece of her kindness in our hearts.

With love and gratitude.

Gloria dyson - no words I can think of , to say how heart wrenching it was to hear of your passing , i would say as painful as hearing about Rays. It is bittersweet, but you are finally together again , I am forever grateful to both of you , for the time , care and love you both gave me , I will always carry you both in my heart forever. Love Jason. Xx
