AlanDURKINMr Alan Durkin, of Broadway, Helmshore, a retired Police Sergeant, passed away on Thursday, December 9, at Royal Blackburn Hospital, with his family by his side, aged 73. He leaves wife Lynne, daughters Hayley and Cathy, and granddaughters Georgia and Gracie. A service and cremation will be held on Wednesday, December 29, at 11am at Accrington Crematorium. Family flowers only are requested, with donations, if desired, to Dementia UK via the funeral director Caroline Holden-Dewhurst for Johnson Durning and Woods, Haslingden.
