Chris was a wonderful man. We both loved tools and when I called round to get my machine services we’d end up enthusing together. I miss him very much

Chris was my much loved brother in law. I can't find the words to express how sad I am at his passing. From the day I met him, and Jenny, in 1987 I was instantly made part of the family. His sense of humour was legendary and being so gullible, I fell for the jokes every time, which he delighted in. Chris was always ready to help if you needed anything. A truly kind man who will be missed deeply. He may leave a huge void in our family but we will all fill that by keeping alive all the lovely memories we have of him over the years. My heart goes out to my wonderful sister in law Jenny and my nieces, Adele, Rosie and Abbi and their families. X

I first met Chris over 50 years ago, and my lasting impression was of a kind, considerate and gentle man who will leave an immense gap in the family. My heartfelt sympathy to Jenny & the girls. Love Judith & family
