Cecil ArthurDOWNINGPassed away peacefully after a short illness on 25th June 2026 at Mount Gould Hospital. Aged 92 years.

Of Mutley, Plymouth.

Husband of Ann (Deceased) Father of Alexander, Heather and Edwin. Father in-law of Lucinda, Derren and Rachel. Grandfather to Lucas and Eloise.

Those we love remain with us, for love itself lives on.

Funeral Service will be held at The Park Crematorium (Ceremony room 2) Merafield Road, Plympton PL7 1UQ on Wednesday 29th July 2026 at 1.30pm.

It was so sad to hear of Cecil`s passing. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the 19th Plymouth scouts, sitting on the groups executive committee for many years. We send our deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time.
