JoanDOWLINGPeacefully in hospital on May 31st, aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Bill, treasured auntie of Peter & Mandy, and will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Service and cremation to take place in the Bluebell Chapel Stockton Crematorium on Tuesday June 20th at 12.30pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to the Salvation Army. I am so sorry to hear of Joan's death. I was first introduced to Joan, or Mrs Dowling as she was known to me, when she interviewed me for a job at the Power-gas as a telephonist/teleprinter operator where she was the supervisor of the Department, as she gave me the job. She took me under her wing, and was the kindest most caring boss. She helped me enormously in both my working and personal life. It was a privilege to know her and I will never forget her.
