The obituary notice of John DOVE

Hello. I'm writing from Spain. Due to a traffic accident I suffered in the 1980s, I've worn a Hartshill Rectangle ever since, which, according to what I've read, was created by Dr. John Dove. Upon learning of his passing in 2024, I felt compelled to express my sincere gratitude to those who contribute to making life more pleasant and happy for others. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.

He was such a nice person ...my sister got her operated for Scoliosis in 1987..he was an excellent orthopaedic surgeon ..he took care of all the matters very nicely ..we r highly thankful for such a nice doctor ..may his soul rest in peace

I'm so sad to read of the passing of Mr. Dove and my thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time. I was a patient of his and had several procedures done by him in the 1980's. Thinking of you all, Kate Adams.

Sincere condolences to Mr Doves family. He was an excellent surgeon, his skill & expertise, gave us reassurance & confidence during our daughters spinal surgery.

A friend , colleague and mentor who left a good footprint

So sad to hear the news about John’s passing. John helped and inspired me to complete the Potteries Marathon in my wheelchair with my great friend Alan Barlow and other to raise money for the Rebecca Owen Trust and the North Staffs Bionic Workshop - your legacy will be your absolute professionalism and dedication to others and will live forever, thank you and love and best wishes to your family at this very sad time.
