Barbara SoniaDODDSIt is with great love and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Barbara Dodds, aged 77, who left us peacefully on Friday 10th October, surrounded by her family.
Barbara was the beloved wife of her late husband, Colin, a much-loved mother to Emma and Lucy, and their loving partners, Dale and Stephen, and an adored Nannie to Daisy, Freddie, and Poppy. She was a cherished sister to Sheila and the late Wendy, and the beloved daughter of the late Dorothy Jones.
Barbara's kindness, warmth, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew her. She devoted her life to her family, her garden, and the joy of the outdoors, and will be remembered for her selflessness, gentle spirit, and wonderful sense of humour.
A funeral service will be held at St Philip's and St James Church, Hucclecote, on Tuesday, 28th October at 1.30pm, followed by a private family cremation. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of a beautiful life well lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the British Heart Foundation or Teckles Animal Shelter in Barbara's honour.
Her light, love, and laughter will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
