Monday 9th March 2026. Hi sweetheart, yesterday I went into town and met up with Harrison, we only have about an hour together but it is so nice seeing him. Apart from getting older he still hasn't changed. He is so polite and caring. He was saying that he remembers the big chess pieces that him and Lacey use to move about. On Sunday Carly came and we were watching the Bulgaria video and Archie was saying you can't do that in chess the way they were moving the pieces. Archie really knows the game well. Harrison is going to get in touch with Lacey to make arrangements for the three of us to go out. They sort it between themselves. He also told me that Tom Harvey's dad had died about three months ago. Don't know the cause but he thought it was natural causes. It is Christine's birthday today she will be 76. 21st February 2026. Well love it is one year today since I had my knee replacement. You know what it was like as you had yours done just before Christmas 2008. Gosh it was so painful and I was in tears at times once I got home with the pain. But once it started to get better I was so pleased I had it done. The only time I struggle is getting in and out of cars, but other than that it is fine. My balance is not as good as it was but I think that is age more than anything else. It is so cold at the moment and it has been for weeks now. I probably will not go back to the caravan until end of March when the weather starts to get a bit warmer. Then there will be some serious reading going on. Can you remember how we would stay in bed and read our books. Coffee and a read nearly every morning. Good times love. Love you so much my love. 14th February 2026. Happy heavenly valentine's day. What is a Husband? A Husband is the special man you love with all your heart. He's the closest friend you've ever had. His smile can make you smile ☺ and just his being close can cheer you up, no matter what goes wrong. My husband is that special man, who shared all my dreams and helped them to come true. FRIDAY 13th February 2026. Hi sweetheart, 50 years ago today since your Dad died. It was all so sudden, even Dr Hunter was surprised. I think he was only 67. He had only been retired a couple of years. He was such a lovely man. Can you remember when he came to stay with us and slept on a camp bed, he could have stayed with Ann as they had a spare room but he preferred to stay at our house. It was such a shock to all of us.
