IsobelDIXONPeacefully on Sunday, June 13, with family by her side, Isobel, aged 84. Dearly loved wife of the late Dennis, devoted mum to Richard and Barbara, dear mother-in-law to Geremy and Katrina, much loved grandma to Georgina, Gregory, Steven, Andrew, James, Mark and Chantelle, cherished great-grandma to Mia, Bobby, Logan, CJ, Layton and Sienna, dear sister to Elizabeth, also a loyal extended family member and friend to many. Isobel spent her working life as a school cook for Huncoat Primary School; this was a job she thoroughly loved and made great friends along the way. Holidays were very much looked forward to, whether it be trips to Canada, Disney World, cruises or Blackpool, Isobel was a well travelled lady. In her spare time Isobel enjoyed reading, especially her murder mystery books, and always looked forward to watching Disney movies and Twilight. She was also into her gaming and loved to sit down and play Lara Croft’s Tomb Raider. Isobel will be sadly missed for her loving personality and great sense of humour. Her funeral service will take place at Accrington Crematorium on Friday, July 2 at 2.20pm; the service will be live streamed for all those unable to attend.
