His Honour JohnDIEHL, KCSadly, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday 22nd of October 2025, aged 81. Husband to Pat, and father to Robert and Stephen. Beloved grandfather to five grandchildren. John will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral on Monday 24th November when a service will be held at Swansea Crematorium at 11.00am, followed by a reception at Morgan's Hotel, Swansea

Donations in memory of John may be made directly to Prostate Cancer UK or the Macular Society.

I had the privilege of working with His Honour through my role as a Crown Court Probation Officer. He was gracious and very kind but in equal terms took no ‘prisoners’ when it came to getting it right. He will be sorely missed by his family friends and ex colleagues. Safe journey home Judge.
