Netta was not only an exceptional teacher but also an extraordinary individual. Her unwavering encouragement motivated me to perform at the Edinburgh Festival with the Jigsaw group, join the National Youth Theatre, and pursue my passion at drama school. I cherish the wonderful memories she helped create during my journey. RIP

I was thinking of Netta Danville just today, and hadn’t heard of her passing a few years ago. I was enormously privileged to have been taught by her at Hillcrest School, and coached by her at Jigsaw club in Netherton. It’s no exaggeration to say that she changed the lives of myself and many friends, opening our minds to the power of drama, to personal expression, and to real collaboration. A truly special human being. X

Mrs Denville was my form teacher for my final 2 years at Hillcrest School in Netherton, Dudley. We thought the world of her and she thought the world of us. She was kind caring and inspirational. She really was a " one off ". I am honoured to have known her. Thank you Netta. You will forever remain in my memories.
