Douglas CharlesDEAKINPassed away peacefully at home on 13th April 2023 aged 88 years. Reunited with his loving wife Pauline, Dad to Ian, Karen, Lesley and Mark, father in-law to Eileen, Robert and Phillip and grandad to his 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchild. Douglas will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him dearly. A celebration of his life will be held at Torquay Crematorium on Tuesday 2nd May 2023 at 3.30pm. Family flowers only by request, donations if desired for Rowcroft Hospice & Marie Curie by retiring collection, Online via our tribute page on our website or may be sent to K.J. I tried to call you today Doug to have a chat and pass on my Christmas Blessings but no reply then I found out that you had passed away. I am so so sad.
Alan my late husband and I met Doug and Pauline on holiday many years ago and became forever friends and had such wonderful times together. Memories that I will treasure.
