StanDAYOf Knott End-On-Sea, formerly of Bury and Manchester. Passed away at Blackpool Hospital on Sept 15th with his son beside him after courageously battling cancer. Devoted and loving husband of Edna for 62 years, father of Neil and Jonathan, grandfather of Orrin and Amber. Will be laid to rest following a funeral service at Stand Church, Whitefield at 1.30pm on Sept 30th. All enquiries to Lilleywhite Funeral Directors, 0161 773 2749.

Very sad to read that Stan has passed away..a good and sincere relative over the last 57 years..Brenda and myself haven’t seen Stan over the last 3 years which is sad..I know then he was ill as I took him to the hospital on occasions..it was a very courageous fight Stan..may you rest in peace..our sincere sadness to Edna on her loss. Love Brenda and Stan
