It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alan, who left us peacefully after a long and courageous battle. His strength, kindness, and quiet resilience touched everyone who knew him.
Alan Passed away at home on 31st January 2026, aged 67, surrounded by his loving family.
Alan is the loving husband of Julie, devoted dad of Claire and partner Leon, brother to Maureen and Brian, and a much-loved uncle and friend to many.
Alan will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of sharing in his life. His memory will remain a source of love, comfort, and inspiration.
The funeral service will take place at Saltwell Crematorium on Friday 20th February 2026, 11:15am.
This will be followed by a celebration of his life at the Thomas Wilson Club to share loving stories and memories.
The family request for mourners to wear casual and comfortable clothing.
Family flowers only please. Donations are welcomed in Alan's memory to Newcastle's Maggie's charity.
