Words are wholly inadequate to convey the depth of my sorrow at this time. I will always remember Professor Howard for his exceptional kindness, integrity, and unwavering support throughout my doctoral studies. His mentorship, thoughtful guidance, and generosity of spirit profoundly shaped my academic development and left a lasting impression on my professional and personal life. His passing is a significant loss to the scholarly community, and he will be remembered with the highest respect and gratitude.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Howard's passing. I was fortunate to work with Howard as a member of the Research Support Office at Bangor University. He was so kind and such a gentlemen. He stepped in to help when we had lost another dear colleague, and his commitment, generosity and calm reassurance helped more than I can say. He will be truly missed, and I send my deepest condolences to his family and friends.
