Loving, dedicated, and treasured mother to Diane, who will dearly miss her every day.
Joan, a State Registered Nurse, built a life centred on the values that defined her: kindness, compassion, dedication, and caring for others. Following World War Two, she pursued her nursing career in Staffordshire, London, and Vancouver, Canada, before returning to England in the 1960s.
Funeral service and interment Friday 6th June at St. Peter's Church, Caverswall at 11:30am. Will all wishing to attend kindly meet at the Church.
No formal dress code, please wear something with a touch of Blue (Joan's favourite colour).
Flowers welcome or donations if desired to Guide Dogs for the Blind.
