Edward SylvesterDAVISPassed away peacefully on Ward 2 at The Florence Nightingale Community Hospital on Monday 5th February 2024, aged 85 years. Much loved husband to Pat, treasured dad to Edward, Angie, Derek and the late Paul. A loved grandad, great grandad and great great grandad who will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Eddie will be received into St Alban's Roman Catholic Church, Chaddesden on Tuesday 5th March 2024 at 4.45pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday 6th March 2024 at 1.00pm, followed by interment at Nottingham Road Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired are invited for Derbyshire Asbestos Support Team. These can be made online at www.george.simnett.co.uk or may be given at the service. Eddie was a stalwart of 44 PFA . Always helpful and good natured. We shared some really great times along with all the other lads in the unit.
