David Arthur (Funeral DirectorDAVISof W.S. Trenhaile) Mary wishes to thank, most sincerely, all relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues of David, for their cards, letters of sympathy and the very generous donations for St. Paul's Church, Shurdington, of which David was so dedicated. The kindness and support of the Doctors and Nurses at Leckhampton Surgery was outstanding, and the dedication of the Marie Curie Nurses in the final days and nights was so much appreciated. Special thanks go to Mr. Gilbert at the Cheltenham General Hospital, of whom David had great respect, and Sue Kerslake for her help and care at home. Finally, with enormous gratitude, thanks go to the Rev. Canon Richard Mitchell for the genuine and heartfelt service he gave with the assistance of Rev. Mike Thompson, John Stanley (organist) and Mary Tombs (verger) and to Carolyn Peck who provided the refreshments at the reception after the service
