For me, Barbara has always been part of the family in Wales - Tony, my husband, and I last saw her in her home just before she became ill; she had cooked cakes and biscuits to welcome us - so typical. We enjoyed reading her book Evacuee / Y Faciwi and sharing it with others - what a story and what a tribute to the kindness of Talgarreg people! We will remember her with great fondness and dear Gareth, too. May she rest in peace. With love, Heather (nee Jones and Tony Allen
