Emily Mary AliceDAVIESFurther to a long illness fought with much spirit and fortitude, Emily sadly passed away on Saturday, 14th May 2022, aged 77 years, at Ysbyty Cwm Cynon, with her family by her side. Emily was a nurse at PCH and for the District, then became a Warden at Ty Bryngoleu, Aberfan, until her retirement. Emily was an active Member of Hoover Cricket Club for many years. Beloved wife of John; dearly loved mother of Susan, Richard and Peter; devoted grandmother to Eve. Cherished family member. Emily will leave her home (15 Bodalaw, Ivor St, Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil) at 11am for the Funeral Service and interment which will be held at St Mary's Church, Cantref, Brecon, LD3 8LR, on Wednesday, 1st June at 12 Noon.
