PaulDARWINPassed away peacefully at Braeside Care Home, Oswaldtwistle on Monday, October 27, aged 77 years.

The treasured son of the late John and Margaret Darwin, much-loved brother of David, Marie, Francis, Agnes and
the late Anne and Michael, beloved uncle, great uncle and friend to many.

A well-known member of first Sacred Heart Church and later St. Mary's Oswaldtwistle and also of the wider community of Accrington and Oswaldtwistle. He was always happy and had a smile and a greeting for everyone.
He worked for a short time in the kitchen at Ewbank but mostly, due to his disabilities, attended Enfield Training Centre. He joined various organisations and groups such as Scouts, Peter Pan Club and Friendship Club.
He enjoyed walking and being as independent as possible, but his greatest love was to be with people, shake their hands and say 'morning'.

Donations to Parkinson's and to Friendship Club (a local, independent organisation focusing on people who are unable to "get out as often as they used to").

Paul's funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 19 at St. Marys R.C. Church, Oswaldtwistle
with Requiem Mass at 10am, followed by committal service at Accrington Crematorium Chapel.

All further enquiries, Hyndburn Funeral Services. Tel 01254 233133.
