Sheila DorothyDANCESheila passed away peacefully at Queen Elizabeth Court, Llandudno on Saturday, 24th January 2026, aged 73 years.

To all those who knew her, Sheila was a bundle of caring fun and positive energy. A loving scouse angel, full of fun and humour. She was always busy. Always keeping fit. Always looking great. Always looking out for and doting on her loving family and friends, work colleagues and the many people she helped through her caring roles at the North Wales Women's Centre in Rhyl, the Probation service and her time working for Childline. Forever caring.

She loved keeping fit, walking in the Welsh Hills (usually with her lovely friend Rhian and their associated dogs) and spending time with her family, grandchildren and many good friends.

Sheila, of Bron Parc in Llysfaen - was the beloved wife of the very characterful engineer Graham, angelic mum of Paul and Chris and their partners Fiona and Jane, adored grandma of Jordan, Lewis, Bodhi, Bessie and Michael, much loved sister of Diane and Ian, much loved aunt to Lee, Scott, Claire and cherished Great Aunt to Lua, Sol, Freya and Aria. She will be impossibly missed by her family and friends and everyone that knew her.

Sheila's funeral will take place on Monday, 9th February 2026 at 2pm at Denbighshire Memorial Park and Crematorium followed by a reception at the Kinmel in Abergele. For those that cannot attend in person, the family have made a webcast facility available, log in details noted below.

If you wish to make a donation in memory of Sheila they will be gratefully accepted towards North Wales Women's Centre Ltd.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Sheila who over the years in Probation made what was very stressful work so meaningful. Her work with women was second to none and her humour was wonderful when you needed it most.
